Ductile Iron, All Bronze construction
Edwards pumps handle a wide variety of fluids without corrosive effects.
Bearings Instead of Bushings
The Edwards pump incorporates external bearings that are isolated from the
liquid, extending pump life.
Teflon Lip Seals
The Edwards pump may be fitted with a custom-manufactured Teflon lip seal in
the stuffing box. This lip seal design allows the pump to run dry. The amount
of time the pump can run dry varies with each model and operating speed.
Timing Gears
The Edwards pump has non-contacting rotors and does not rely on the liquid
being pumped for lubrication. This allows the pump to run dry when using our
lip seals in the stuffing box. |

All Stainless Steel Shafts
The Edwards pump uses solid stainless steel shafts, instead of plated or
treated steel shafts. The benefit to the user is corrosion resistance of this
critical part of the pump, reducing the potential for failure.
Self-Priming
The Edwards pump will self-prime.
Pumps Any Viscosity of Foam Concentrate
The Edwards pump will handle viscous products. Suction pipe or hose length and
diameter are critical limitations that must be reviewed when pumping high
viscosity liquids. |
